Mission Statement:

Kind Hands 4 Paws, a non-profit organization formed in 2010, is dedicated to reducing the unnecessary euthanasia of adult dogs by rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, which primarily come from high-kill and overburdened shelters, as well as owners who, for various reasons, can no longer care for them, and by promoting and helping to facilitate low cost spay and neuter programs to reduce the population of unwanted animals.

By working with committed volunteers and gracious local veterinarians, we prepare dogs for their new homes by providing them with temporary care, which includes a loving foster home, complete medical care, and continued reinforcement of manners and socialization. We then, by a careful matching and screening process, strive to find a permanent adoptive home for each dog.

We believe most dogs, if given the right opportunities, training, love, and well matched adopters can go on to live out their lives very happily with their new adoptive families.
